Individual Psychotherapy
CHANGE AND IMPROVEMENT IN QUALITY OF LIFE
Gestalt psychotherapy enables not only the elimination of symptoms or the mechanisms that sustain them but, above all, the restoration of the body's self-regulation process.
I invite adults who want to take advantage of professional help to make changes and improve the quality of their lives in areas and relationships that are important to them, in the way they need and as it is possible for them at a given moment. I offer short- and long-term individual psychotherapy in accordance with EAGT international standards:
Short-term individual psychotherapy is a series of meetings focused on solving one specific problem, changing one selected aspect of functioning, or providing support to better cope in a specific situation. It lasts from 12 to 24 weekly meetings lasting 50 minutes.
Long-term individual psychotherapy allows for working through internal conflicts and changing established patterns of behavior, thinking, experiencing, and building relationships. Its essence is to change personality structures, enabling a lasting improvement in the quality of life. It lasts from 6 months to several years.
What does the first session look like?
The first meeting is a consultation. It allows for a preliminary determination of possibilities and the framework for further cooperation. During the next few meetings, a therapeutic contract is concluded, including the goals of the therapeutic work and the detailed rules under which psychotherapy will be conducted.
Who is psychotherapy for?
Gestalt psychotherapy is for people who want to take advantage of professional help in coping better in specific situations, solving emotional problems in important areas of life and relationships, treating mental and psychosomatic disorders (e.g., depression, neuroses), as well as people who want to use psychotherapy as a form of personality development.
Gestalt therapy is a form of psychological help, as well as a method of working towards discovering personal potential on the path to self-realization, both in the personal and professional spheres.
In particular, I invite people who:
